Daily Itinerary

September 17 - Depart US. Group air on Lufthansa from Charlotte or you may wish to use Frequent Flyer Points. You will need to arrive in Milan for transfer to Lake Como on September 18th (depart 17) and depart Genoa or Florence on 25 September.

September 18 - Arrive Milan and transfer to Albergo Terminus on Lake Como in the town of Como. Evening free to get to know all the members of the group and enjoy a lovely Italian meal on your own.

September 19 - Breakfast each day in our hotel. Today we will spend the whole day on the lake with a guide enjoying Villa Carlotta , Villa Balbianello, and the most beautiful village in Italy, (thought by many) Bellagio. Lunch and shopping in Bellagio and then our private water taxi back to Como.
Dinner on own.

September 20 - Our guide will meet us after breakfast for a walking tour of Como. Then we will make our way on the funicular up to the village of Brumate for the views and lunch. This afternoon, some silk shopping, in the silk capital of the world!
Dinner on own.

September 21 - A free day to enjoy hiking, shopping, or villa visiting on the lake.

September 22 - This morning we will meet our motorcoach and depart the magnificent lake area for the Italian Riviera. We will drive through Milan and a guide will meet us to see Leonardo’s famous paining “The Last Supper.” A stop at the Duomo and some shopping and lunch and on the Excelsior Palace in Rapello . You can enjoy a seaside dinner with your new friends in the group.

September 23 - Breakfast in our hotel. We will take the train today to Cinque Terre. The five quaint ancient villages on the coast known as the Ligurian Coast of Italy. We will walk, boat, or train through the five villages. Then take the train back to our hotel. This is truly a memorable day.

September 24 - This morning, weather permitting, we will take the ferry to one of the most famous playgrounds of the “rich and famous”, Portofino. After we make our way through the village, we will enjoy some serious shopping, a famous Bellini on the seaside, and lunch. After a stop at Santa Margherita on the return we will arrive in Rapello.

September 25 - An early morning wake-up call for our transfer to Genoa and return home.
